A lava rupture had crushed the town some decades ago. The lava was seeping into the ocean and petrified in an instant. Therefore at the cost of the little town Garachico a maze of cold lava cut into the water and created pathes for the waves and natural basins for bathing.
It was my favourite place on the whole island.
